Plot Introduction:
"Rise of the Footsoldier" tells the story of a footsoldier who inevitably rises to become one of Carlton Leach's most feared lieutenants. Football terraces become the recruiting ground for a notorious gang of criminals who make their way through London and Essex in the late 80s and early 90s. After 30 years, he transitions from being a football hooligan, through his emerging career as a bouncer, getting involved in the early 'rave party' scene on the criminal side, and then rising to power as one of the most feared and respected criminals in the country. "Rise of the Footsoldier" also tells the story of the last three members of his crew who were brutally murdered in the infamous lead ball gun killings in Rettenden. "Rise of the Footsoldier" is the latest American action film from 2007, with the English name "Rise of the Footsoldier".
