Jennifer's Body Plot Introduction: Nadine (Amanda Seyfried) and Jennifer (Megan Fox) are best friends who grew up together. Nadine is plain-looking and always follows her friend's lead; Jennifer is the head cheerleader of the school, has countless admirers, and they both live in the remote Devil's Kettle town. One evening, a rock band called Low Shoulder comes to perform at Melody Lane, the only bar in the town, and Jennifer drags her friend along. Just as the performance begins, a serious fire breaks out in the bar. Nadine narrowly escapes, but she can only helplessly watch as Jennifer, who was already terrified, gets dragged into a car by the band members and drives off into the distance.
