In the Song Dynasty, Ximen Qing (played by Lin Weijian), a member of a prestigious family, is not only handsome but also endowed with extraordinary talents. He inherits his father's (played by Xu Shaoqiang) medical skills and pharmacological knowledge, specializing in yang-restoring techniques. Just as he is coming into his own, his father arranges for a charming courtesan (played by Kaera Uehara) to reside in their home, ostensibly as a daughter of an old family friend temporarily staying at the Ximen residence.
