[Great Comments]:
"It's been a long time since I last watched a cult film. I used to be very enthusiastic about finding and watching these kinds of films, constantly challenging the limits of human vision. I remember once watching 'Killer A One' with shining eyes while happily chewing on pork floss, which scared my roommate. Back then, I was just beginning to taste cruelty, wanting to prove to the world that I was fearless. Later, I gradually lost interest, like how eating too much spicy duck neck from Changsha makes one crave for Japanese-style steamed egg custard, becoming obsessed with cryptic slow-burn films.
Watching this movie from start to finish did not bring any discomfort. Although Sion Sono blatantly copied Takashi Miike's 'Audition', his skills are unfortunately not yet up to par.
Revealing the ugly side of humanity is all about promiscuity, incest, child abuse, harming oneself and others. Playing all your cards doesn't amount to much more than this. In fact, everyone harbors these filths in their hearts; they just don't have the chance to act on them normally. Dreams, however, cannot be stopped. Anything can happen in dreams, and it happens recklessly.
The reason I watched this film was because of Kazuhiro Ishida. This is his work after making a comeback. He has aged a bit, but he's still a youth. This character, only he can play - that slender body, a face like a fox.
The lead actress's breasts sag so severely. When she first appeared in the bed scene, her breasts were so loose. When she wore a low-cut gown, it looked very awkward because her horizontal line is much lower than others. However, the drooping breasts precisely emit a licentious aura.
The dreamlike amusement park and circus in the film, the Gothic Baroque splendor, is akin to being immersed in VISUAL ROCK."
