The Grey Hounds (played by Aleksandr Bukharov) is a brave warrior from the Grey Hound tribe. As a child, he witnessed the tragedy of his family being slaughtered. The murderer, Zhadoba, was a priest wearing a demon mask, and he had a follower, the Cannibal (played by Aleksandr Domogarov). After becoming a slave, the Grey Hounds grew up with a strong desire for revenge, and eventually, he escaped. He first killed the Cannibal and rescued several captives, including the wise Tilorn (played by Andrei Rudensky) and the slave girl Niilit (played by Evgenia Sviridova).
The warrior then advanced towards the city named Galirad, seeking any opportunity to carry out his plan for revenge while also searching for his ally, the evil goddess Morana. Princess Helen (played by Oksana Akinshina) was imprisoned under a devil's curse and was forced to be engaged to Vinitar (played by Anatoli Belyj), the son of the Cannibal, for the sake of peace. Zhadoba attempted to release the witch Morana by spilling Helen's blood, but ultimately, the princess remained unharmed under the protection of the Grey Hounds.
