Introduction to the plot of "The Little Cat's Romance":
Taro Onizuka is the head of the personnel department at a large company. He has always been strict with himself and impartial in enforcing the company's rules. He shows no mercy to employees who cannot contribute to the company, and everyone in the company, from top to bottom, fears him.
Onizuka is a workaholic, believing that life requires no leisure. He works tirelessly, silently enduring the torment of his gastric illness.
One evening, while on his way home after work, Onizuka encounters a kitten. The adorable demeanor of the kitten makes it impossible for Onizuka to leave it behind. This lovable little creature subtly changes the hardened heart of the personnel minister. Afraid of his wife's opposition, Onizuka keeps the kitten in an unused room at the company.
Neither his family nor his colleagues must know. Thus begins the story between Onizuka and the kitten...
