Plot Introduction for "Tiananmen":
In 1949, Beiping was peacefully liberated. Tian Zhenying, captain of the stage design team of the Anti-Enemy Drama Society under the Political Department of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region, received an urgent task. His superiors required him to lead the stage design team in a comprehensive renovation and repair of the Tiananmen Gate Tower for use in the Founding Ceremony.
Due to long-term neglect from war, the desolation and decay of Tiananmen greatly exceeded people's expectations, and the renovation time was only a short 28 days. Tian Zhenying and his teammates did not shrink back in fear. With the fiery belief of fighting hard for the new China and completing the task before seeing Chairman Mao, they solemnly signed a military order.
Since the start of the construction work at Tiananmen, Tian Zhenying and his teammates entered a state of countdown tension. They encountered various unexpected difficulties and the frustration of several failures, but this group of young soldiers never lost their passion and courage. Facing difficulties, they persevered through gritted teeth, learning as they worked. Ultimately, the Anti-Enemy Drama Society's stage design team came up with an excellent design plan centered on hanging eight super-large red lanterns on the Tiananmen Gate Tower and completed the construction project on time before the Founding Ceremony.
On October 1st during the Founding Ceremony, Chairman Mao stood on the newly renovated Tiananmen and solemnly announced the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
