In 1985, the wreckage of the Titanic was discovered. Inside the cabin, American explorer Lovett saw a painting. Rose, who is 102 years old, claimed that she was the girl in the painting, and Rose began to narrate her story from back in the day. On April 10th, 1912, the "Titanic," called a "miracle in the history of world industry," set sail from Southampton, England to New York, USA. Wealthy young Rose boarded the ship with her mother and fiancé Cal. Meanwhile, the free-spirited young artist Jack won his ticket at a gamble on the dock. Rose didn't want to marry Cal and planned to commit suicide by jumping into the sea, but was held back by Jack. Soon, the beautiful and lively Rose fell in love with the handsome and cheerful Jack. A catastrophic tragedy occurred when the Titanic collided with an iceberg. Jack gave up his chance of survival for his lover Rose and froze to death in the icy sea. After telling this love story, the aged Rose threw the invaluable jewels into the sea, letting them rest at the bottom of the ocean with Jack and their love forever.
