Introduction to the full series plot of "Happy Boys":

The musical film "Happy Boys", starring the top 13 finalists of the "Super Boy" competition including Yu Haoming, Wang Lixin, Zhang Jie, Wei Chen, and Su Xing, held its launch ceremony on October 7, 2008, at the Capital Cinema in Beijing. The renowned Hong Kong director Raymond Lin directed the film, while famous musician Ke Xia served as the music supervisor. The film was co-invested by "Shenzhen Longteng Art Ocean Cultural Communication Co., Ltd.", "Beijing Shengshi Huashui Film Investment Management Co., Ltd.", and "Shanghai Tianyu Media Co., Ltd." Using special filming techniques and narrative styles, it tells the story of the post-80s generation's ambitious entrepreneurial journey filled with wit and humor, interwoven with romantic elements. The lively and vivid nature of the story is the first main theme that runs throughout the entire film. The collaboration of three industry giants endowed "Happy Boys", born in a golden cradle, with a noble lineage, and an elite team ensured its growth. The film is expected to wrap up in November, and it is the first large-scale musical film depicting young people's entrepreneurship. According to music supervisor Ke Xia, the musical and dance elements account for one-third of the film's content, serving as the finishing touch, while the actors' youthful vitality is the focus of the film.

This film also utilized a super high-definition camera, "the red one," which has not been used domestically before, to assist in its filming. Additionally, this is China's first digital 3D stereoscopic film.

Since this is a musical film, the role of songs and dances is crucial. As the music supervisor, Ke Xia mentioned that although songs and dances take up one-third of the film's content, they only serve as the finishing touch; the actors' youthful energy is the highlight of the film. Regarding the actors' performances, Director Raymond Lin stated that since most of the actors are filming their first movie, their roles are designed to match their true personalities, tailored according to their individual characters. When it comes to screen time, Lin believed that in a normal film, there will definitely be differences in screen time. "In this film, Yu Haoming has the most screen time, so I have high hopes for him. Additionally, Ji Jie's character is also very interesting because he plays the villain." Finally, Lin revealed that the film not only uses innovative shooting techniques but also employs 3D visuals to showcase the songs and dances for the first time, making this the biggest highlight aside from the leading cast.
