Plot Introduction:

The story takes place in an ancient dynasty. The emperor has 12 royal secret agents who are his bodyguards. They are named after the Chinese zodiac signs. Louis Koo plays the role of Gao Tianjiu, whose codename is the Dog sign from the Pan family, also known as "Ling Ling Dog". He develops a romantic relationship with the female knight "Mei Xiwang", portrayed by Barbie Hsu. Meanwhile, the eunuch played by Shaun Tam has grand ambitions; he plans to overthrow the emperor and take his place. However, he must first eliminate the 12 royal secret agents, led by the character played by Louis Koo.
