Full Plot Introduction of "Outlaw (Plastic City)":
"Outlaw" is set against the backdrop of a traditional Oriental district in downtown Sao Paulo, Brazil. It tells the story of the grievances between Kylin, a young and impulsive rich kid, and his father, Yara, a legendary Chinese fugitive.
This father-son duo leads the largest counterfeit smuggling group in South America. They rule over an Oriental district filled with triad forces, street vendors, corrupt politicians, and dancers. However, even an empire carefully built over many years cannot escape destruction due to a single misstep.
A conspiracy involving politicians and gangs is closing in on Yara. Gradually losing control of his business, he falls into decline and eventually ends up in prison. Kylin is left to fight alone in this battlefield of a district. But as Yara feels the passage of time, weary of the bloodshed, he leaves his son behind, creating a false image of his own death. He boards a military-arranged helicopter and is dropped into the jungle, the starting point of his life, now becoming his self-imposed cocoon, a maze for repentance.
Free from the confusion and bewilderment of violence, Kylin begins searching for his father. In the mysterious forest, the father and son settle their past grievances. That one stab kills a world, causing all things to wither before Kylin's eyes and then be reborn. The dense forest and the sea are silent, and life still carries its own burdens.
