Plot Summary:
Jiro is a lonely college student who doesn't receive any birthday wishes on his special day. On November 22, 2007, Jiro goes to a department store to buy himself a 20th birthday present. There, he encounters a beautiful girl who appears to have just escaped from a fire scene. She casually picks out a dress, puts it on without paying, and then leaves confidently. Later, while Jiro is eating alone at a restaurant, he meets her again. "Today's my birthday too!" The girl pulls Jiro along for a whirlwind meal, but they end up being chased by the police because she ate without paying... Just as Jiro begins to fall in love with her, filled with excitement and surprise, the girl suddenly disappears.
A year later, Jiro meets her again at the same restaurant when a crazed man starts shooting wildly. In the nick of time, just as Jiro is about to be hit by bullets, the girl saves him from danger. That night, Jiro encounters a future version of himself, 60 years older and disabled, sitting in a wheelchair at his own home. The elderly man reveals the truth: Originally, Jiro was destined to be shot that night by the armed man, leaving him permanently disabled. However, a week before this incident, Jiro had bought a lottery ticket that turned out to be a big winner.
