Hong Kong director Louis Koo held the Asian premiere of his new film "The Chain Game" on June 5th, with the main cast members Rene Liu, Gin Lee, Jordan Chan, and Guo Tao all making appearances. This event marked the start of this year's summer blockbuster season with a police-criminal suspense film.

Louis Koo, who has considerable experience directing films about female psychology, has shifted his focus to female crime in this project. He reinterprets the fragile and疯狂 side of women from the perspectives of a female kidnapper and a policewoman. Gin Lee plays a kidnapper with a dual identity, while Rene Liu portrays a policewoman, together presenting a series of tightly connected, intense, and thrilling kidnapping stories.

"These two women are constantly at odds from the very beginning, fighting every minute, every day, truly showing everyone what it looks like when women get fierce," Louis Koo joked that after filming this movie, he no longer dares to provoke women because their fierce side is scarier than men's.

The other two male leads are played by Hong Kong heartthrob Jordan Chan and Guo Tao, who gained fame in mainland China through the film "Crazy Stone".
