"Angel's War," also known as "Air Stewardess War" or "The Story of Air Stewardesses," is reportedly adapted from articles published on the personal blog of a former flight attendant at Thai Airways. The original author wrote about her emotional experiences with pilots and various work-related incidents during her time as a stewardess, publishing them in novel form which immediately garnered enthusiastic following and attention online. After a Thai entertainment company acquired the TV adaptation rights, they cast their popular young actors and actresses, sparking a viewing craze in Thailand. When broadcast on Thailand's CH5, the show averaged a 12 rating across all its episodes.
