Set against the backdrop of the War of Resistance against Japan, Mr. Zhu Sujin chose a unique perspective to tell the story. Among the masses of anti-Japanese heroes, he selected an ordinary soldier from a civilian background as a typical example. The story tells of this naive and straightforward young soldier "Shunliu" (played by Wang Baoqiang), who during the process of the Anti-Japanese War, won many valuable victories for his troops with his exceptional shooting skills in real combat, while also growing up under the baptism of gunfire.

However, Shunliu and his commander "Chen Dali" (played by Zhang Guoqiang) together vowed revenge on the cruel battlefield filled with rivers of blood. Together they wrote a touching story of brotherhood. One is the son of a hunter raised by a she-wolf, with an innate talent for shooting; the other is a heroic commander who has been through numerous battles and established remarkable achievements, loving talented people like his life, and full of righteousness. Both are filled with sincere loyalty to their country. On the front line of the bloody battle against Japan, they sang a loud and triumphant song of passionate men swearing to die for their country. Their story is destined to be grand and tragic, surely achieving a legendary tale of soldiers and generals worth singing and crying over.
