The story originates from the Holy Land of Acre in 1291. In this year, Sultan, the Islamic leader, personally led a large army to attack the Latin Kingdom (established by the crusaders in 1100), causing the kingdom to fall and the city to crumble. During the fierce battle, Martin, a young knight from Carmaux, France, was ordered by the highest leader of the Knights Templar to escape into the sea with his teacher Aimard and a mysterious box. However, the small boat could not withstand the fury of the sea and disappeared without a trace.
