One day in 1969, 12-year-old Alan Paris was about to run away from home when his friend Sarah came by. Together, they started playing "Jumanji." Once the dice were rolled, the board game revealed an incredible magic: Alan was swallowed by the game, and Sarah was chased out of the room by a group of scary bats. Twenty-six years later, Judy and Peter moved into the house and found the "Jumanji" game. After studying the rules, they discovered that once the game started, it couldn't be stopped and had to be played through to the end. The siblings could only continue Alan's game from years ago. After rolling the dice, a lion appeared along with Alan, who had been trapped for 26 years. Alan was overjoyed after subduing the lion, but soon realized something was wrong. First, things and people had changed, and second, the game had brought a large number of wild animals that wreaked havoc on the town.
