Daigo (played by Motoki Hiroshi) is a cellist in a Tokyo orchestra. One day, the leader of the band suddenly announces the disbandment, leaving Daigo no choice but to return to his hometown in Yamagata Prefecture. One day, he accidentally sees a recruitment ad that reads: "No age limit, high salary guaranteed! Travel assistant, NK agent!"
Daigo thinks the job conditions seem pretty good, so he decides to give it a try. The interview location is a very peculiar office with a few coffins placed in the dilapidated room. The man who calls himself the president, Sasaki (played by Nuki Toshiyuki), doesn't even glance at Daigo's resume and immediately decides to hire him. Daigo is shocked and stammeringly asks what exactly this job entails.
