This film is adapted from Scott Fitzgerald's eponymous novel. The protagonist is a strange person called Benjamin Button, who was born in the image of an old man and then became younger as he grew up. In 1919, Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt) was born in Baltimore. When he was born, he was already a "old" baby over 70 years old. His father abandoned him on the street. Fortunately, a kind black woman adopted him and taught him all the wisdom she had accumulated over the years. In 1930, when Benjamin was 11 years old (he looked over 60 now), he met 6-year-old Daisy (Cate Blanchett). They fell in love.
Later, World War II broke out, and Benjamin sailed from the United States to England. On the way, he met all kinds of people, witnessed real tragedies, and experienced the greatest glory of humanity. After the war, he reunited with Daisy in New York. By this time, Daisy had become a successful dancer. In 1950, they finally looked about the same age. Benjamin and Daisy spent the best time of their lives together. However, as Benjamin became younger and younger, he realized that he could no longer live with Daisy. Daisy needed a more normal life...
