This film is adapted from the first of eight diary-style novels created by British comedy genius Louise Rennison. It unfolds in the form of the diary of its 14-year-old protagonist, Georgia Nicholson, vividly portraying the troubles, heartaches, frustrations, and mischief of adolescent girls.
