Among the three long-term serialized shonen manga in Shonen Jump, Bleach is currently the only one that has not been adapted into a theatrical anime. However, this will soon change. Not long ago, we saw the title "Bleach: The Movie (tentative)" on Toho's scheduling chart. Subsequently, Toho launched a dedicated website for the Bleach movie and stated that related trailers and promotions would be released soon.
From the limited information available, it is known that the director is Akiyuki Shinbo, who previously directed the TV series of Yu Yu Hakusho and also served as the director for the TV series of Bleach. Additionally, the screenplay is written by Makoto Uchida, who previously wrote the script for "Theatrical Version: Arrested." The voice actors and staff will continue to use the lineup from the TV series.
More than a month after Toho Kinema first announced the "Theatrical Version: Bleach," the official website for the Bleach movie was finally launched, adding new content including the usual style of advance movie tickets and a summary of the plot for the theatrical version. The trailer has not been officially released yet, but as expected by the editor, the special announcement and trailer will be interspersed during the screenings of several major films such as "Pokémon," "Japan Sinks," and "Tales from Earthsea" on Toho's circuit in mid-July, and the official website will be updated with the video at that time.
After the official website was made public, the theatrical version was officially named "Bleach: Memories of Nobody," which means "Memories Elsewhere." The story tells of an abnormal situation occurring in Karakura Town, putting the Soul Society on high alert. A newly emerging evil force is plotting a terrifying conspiracy... Just as the world is about to be destroyed, can Ichigo and his friends save the world? It seems to be the usual original route.
