"Dragon Ball Kai" is a newly edited TV animation series through the latest digital technology. Besides significantly enhancing the picture quality, "Dragon Ball Kai" is based on the TV animation series "Dragon Ball Z," which marks its 20th anniversary since its original airing. It will be re-edited, and all recordings and sound effects will be re-recorded. Therefore, the original cast, including Masako Nozawa as the voice of "Goku" and Hiromi Tsuru as the voice of "Bulma," will return to their roles. However, past voice actors like Kôhei Miyauchi (voice of "Master Roshi") and Yôsuke Katô (voice of "Tien Shinhan") have passed away. In this newly released list, Master Roshi and Tien Shinhan will be voiced by Masanori Sato and Akira Green Hoshino respectively. Masanori Sato has previously voiced the advisor for the "Red Ribbon Army" in the original "Dragon Ball" TV series, as well as Musashi Miyamoto in "Samurai Giants." Akira Green Hoshino has provided voices for characters such as Hanamichi Sakuragi in "Slam Dunk" and Naotsugu Nijo in "Lightning Racers." Additionally, it is expected that at the end of April, a role-playing game for the NDS adapted from this work, titled "Dragon Ball Kai: Saiyan Arrival (ドラゴンボー儿改 サイヤ人来袭)," will also be released. The trailer for the animated series "Dragon Ball Kai" has already been made public on the official website, with the series set to air in Japan starting from April 5th.
