At first, Kurosaki Ichigo was just a seemingly frail but passionate violent teenager who could see ghosts, living an ordinary life. His father ran a hospital and exorcised spirits, his two sisters were absolutely normal, and there was a strict family rule that he must return home by seven o'clock every day or be physically disciplined.
