Plot Introduction:
The protagonist, Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, is frequently bullied at school and doesn't have great academic performance. The only reason he continues to attend school is to see Kyoko, the girl he likes. One day, after skipping school and returning home, his mother informs him that a tutor has been hired for him. The reason being that they've received quite a few interesting promotional flyers from a tutoring service. Considering Tsuna's situation at school, they decided to hire this tutor. However, what surprises both Tsuna and his mother is that the tutor turns out to be a young boy dressed in a suit named Reborn, who claims to be from Italy. In reality, Reborn is a hitman from the Italian Mafia. His original boss was actually Tsuna's grandfather. The Sawada family happens to be a branch of his family that migrated to Japan. Since the other descendants have been persecuted to death, Reborn was specially sent from afar to Japan with the purpose of training Tsuna to become the successor of the mafia boss in the future.
