The merchant Lawrence, who set off from the Church City, and Holo, the wise wolf, arrive at the bustling city of Kermelson, which hosts a grand festival in winter, in order to gather information about Yoitz, Holo's homeland. Here, they meet the fish merchant Amati, who falls in love with Holo at first sight and quickly begins to pursue her aggressively. On the other hand, the subtle feelings between Lawrence and Holo lead to deeper misunderstandings. Subsequently, Lawrence and Amati become embroiled in a great commotion due to their respective businesses.
