March 17th, today, is the International Maritime Day.
Perhaps it's a commemorative day that few people are familiar with, but it's a day that I really like. It reminds me of Koei's classic game "Uncharted Waters". It was this classic game, the second edition, that was the first game I became addicted to and remains my favorite to this day. I'm a bit old-fashioned, I only like the second edition and keep reminiscing about it. Many people say that game developers back in those days were truly remarkable. "Uncharted Waters II", a game just a few megabytes in size, could be so rich and fascinating. What does a few megabytes mean today? They were indeed remarkable.
