Yesterday morning, the female vocalists of Wenzhou Chorus came out of Yongqiang Airport with bouquets in their arms. At the 13th CCTV Young Singers Grand Prix, they represented Zhejiang and participated in the competition. Their acapella folk song "Pairing Birds" from Wenzhou won an excellence award in the choral category. Choirmaster Zou Yuefei said that all the hard work and hustle were meaningful - for a civilian group to select local music from Wenzhou to participate in CCTV competition not only trained the chorale but also promoted Wenzhou.
