To all netizens who aspire to become moderators:
A moderator is the foundation of a forum, and we have always believed this.
Please seriously consider your dedication and capability. "Dedication" refers to the willingness to do work, and "capability" refers to the ability to do work.
The willingness to work is the most important condition for becoming a moderator!
If you want to be a moderator just for the sake of it, without truly wanting to serve the netizens or fulfill the responsibilities of a moderator, then we hope that you do not apply, but instead give the opportunity to those who are truly dedicated to doing the work!
As for "capability," it refers to the "ability to work." In fact, being a moderator does not require any special skills. Of course, having a good understanding of the board is necessary. Beyond that, what's needed is time! Being a moderator requires a significant amount of time spent on the site. If you don't have enough time, even if you're willing, how can you properly perform the duties of a moderator?
Therefore, before you submit an application, please carefully think about this issue. If you have both the willingness and the capability, we sincerely welcome you to join the ranks of 'sock' moderators!

[Moderator Rights and Responsibilities]
Moderators need to pay attention to the rights, responsibilities, and other related matters concerning moderators, while also keeping an eye on the administrative zone and cooperating accordingly.
If users post articles that violate the regulations of the 'sock' community, moderators have the right and obligation to delete them.
In case of verbal conflicts among users, moderators are obligated to mediate disputes fairly. If users still refuse to heed advice, they can notify the administrator for assistance.
Moderators should promote discussions on the board, frequently post articles related to the board's content or answer user questions to establish the style and theme of the discussion area.
Moderators should mark excellent articles on the board and collect these articles and answers to common questions in the highlights section for easy reference by board members.
If there is an argument within the board, moderators should take responsibility for mediation. When encountering obvious irrational disputes between users in the discussion area, moderators must actively intervene to resolve disputes and maintain proper discourse in the discussion area.
If there is intentional flooding on the board, moderators should proactively discourage and delete such posts; otherwise, it will be considered as failing to fulfill their duties. If moderators participate in flooding or use their moderator privileges for personal purposes, it will be regarded as serious dereliction of duty, subject to criticism and possible removal of privileges.
[Moderator Duties]
Moderator tasks and authorities: Delete useless posts, set sticky posts, create a discussion atmosphere on the board, submit accounts that need to be banned to the administrator.
The deletion criteria should be strictly followed by the moderators. Generally, board management should be handled strictly by the moderators.
