Hong Kong组合Farmers - a HIP HOP group striving to spread the seeds of HIP HOP across the lands of Hong Kong. Two MCs, a scratch DJ, and a female singer - their music is destined to be rich and varied. Their beautiful music combined with satirical lyrics quickly made them popular in Hong Kong. Due to their outstanding musical philosophy, they have already garnered support and cooperation from various HIP HOP workers across Southeast Asia in their debut album. Not using profanity might be one of their characteristics; they hope to view the dark sides of society from a tolerant perspective, yet reflect a sense of responsibility through self-reflective lyrics that make listeners introspect as well. Their first single "Bodhi Was Originally Nothing" aims to restore the good name of HIP HOP. The follow-up "Bodhi Was Originally Nothing Different" discusses the true essence of HIP HOP with MC Ren. "Seventeen Years of Splendor" narrates the real reason behind the fall of a supposedly bad teenage girl as seen by outsiders. "CHECK 2 DA SEA" introduces themselves while showcasing their HIP HOP skills (none would have expected the female member to rap...).
