"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe will turn 18 in July, at which point he will be old enough to access his savings. Recently, he spent $4.3 million USD (approximately 30 million RMB) on a super luxury apartment in New York City. However, he does not currently plan to live there himself, but instead intends to put it up for rent. The apartment Daniel purchased, called "Mercer 40," is hailed as the new landmark of SoHo, New York. It was funded by Andre Balazs, Uma Thurman's ex-boyfriend and hotel tycoon, and designed by renowned architect Jean Nouvel, who gained international fame for designing landmarks such as the Arab World Institute in Paris and the New Opera House in Lyon. Daniel purchased the large unit on the fifth floor under a company's name. Spanning 180 square meters, the apartment features a kitchen with a skylight.
