In the first episode, Wei Zhuang, president of Wei Enterprises, and his partner, Zhu Keyi, arrive at Ge Store Township to recruit migrant workers. Tang Danni and Hong Jiuchong, who have never been to the city, manage to get on the truck filled with migrant workers. On the way, Wei Zhuang's car gets into an accident. With serious injuries, Wei Zhuang hands over a key tied around his neck to Tang Danni who is holding him, while repeatedly muttering a string of numbers: 23081712.
