On February 11, a Weibo user revealed online that "Zhao Benshan had an affair with Meng Zhen, who once played the role of Xiao Cui in 'Ma Da Shuai'. Meng Zhen is now pregnant and Zhao Benshan has bought her a 1 million yuan insurance policy."

Upon the release of this news, many netizens expressed their surprise on Weibo. However, Zhao Benshan did not respond to these allegations. That evening, Meng Zhen posted on her personal Weibo: "I just read a very funny news story online. After graduation, I went to Beijing and didn't stay at Benshan Media.
