JJ Abrams, the creator of "Lost", together with Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (the production team behind "Star Trek," "Mission: Impossible III," and "Alias"), have collaborated on a new series that will take you on a thrilling and terrifying journey between science fiction and reality. When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport, all passengers and crew are found mysteriously dead. FBI special investigator OLIVIA DUNHAM (played by newcomer Anna Torv) is called to the scene to investigate. When her partner, special investigator JOHN SCOTT (played by Mark Valley, known for his role in "Boston Legal"), nearly gets killed during the investigation, a desperate Olivia frantically searches for someone who can help her. By chance, she discovers DR WALTER BISHOP (played by John Noble, known for his role in "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King"), the Einstein of our time. However, he has been institutionalized for nearly 20 years, and to have any meaningful interaction with him, Olivia must turn to his estranged son, Peter.
