It was reported that Felicia Lee, a Chinese adult film actress from Singapore, was murdered by her white boyfriend from Monrovia. The two had known each other for less than half a year before the incident. Felicia Lee died of suffocation and her body was covered in bruises.
The Homicide Section of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department stated that 31-year-old Felicia Lee met 45-year-old Brian Lee Randone in April this year, and they soon started cohabiting. Prior to this, Felicia Lee lived in an apartment in Rowland Heights, while Brian Lee Randone worked as an insurance broker.
