On July 7, local time in the United States, the legendary star Michael Jackson will be laid to rest at the "Forest Lawn" cemetery in Los Angeles. However, according to reports by The Sunday Mirror, the brain will not be included in the coffin that is being buried. Due to the need for further testing to rule out any ambiguities surrounding the cause of death, Jackson's brain has already been removed and preserved by the Los Angeles coroner’s office.
According to the Los Angeles coroner’s office, Jackson still needs a neuropathological test conducted on brain tissue slices. This test can only be carried out after the brain has fully hardened, which will take at least another two weeks. Craig Harvey, spokesperson for the Los Angeles coroner’s office, stated that the test results could confirm the exact names of any medications he had taken before his death, as well as any signs of drug abuse, and uncover any clues leading to the sudden death of the King of Pop.
