Yoon Tae-Young plays the role of Oh Hye-Sung, who endured many hardships from a young age. After meeting Choi Yeon-Ji (played by Kim Min-Jung), he begins to get involved in baseball and sets both baseball and Yeon-Ji as his ultimate goals to strive for. Growing up, Oh Hye-Sung becomes a uniquely talented monster pitcher, holding the record for the fastest pitch speed in Korea. To help Hye-Sung, Yeon-Ji brings in the "Outsider Team," composed of five gifted baseball players, to support Hye-Sung.

Ma Dong-Chul (played by Park Sung-Min), who firmly believes that with hard work, nothing is unattainable, becomes the strongest batter in Korea through relentless effort. In a match against Hye-Sung, Hye-Sung sacrifices his shoulder, while Ma Dong-Chul loses his self-respect and a 14-year love. However, Yeon-Ji only sees Hye-Sung's pain and overlooks the damage done to Dong-Chul, leaving him deeply hurt. As Yeon-Ji wavers between the two outstanding men, Hye-Sung and Dong-Chul, she feels uneasy about causing harm to both of them. Yeon-Ji's younger sister, Hyun-Ji (played by Song A-Young), was once saved by Hye-Sung when she was in elementary school, and since then, Hyun-Ji has been harboring a one-sided love for Hye-Sung, whom she sees as a prince-like figure. Even as a high school student, Hyun-Ji still loves Hye-Sung, but Hye-Sung has only eyes for her sister Yeon-Ji and merely views Hyun-Ji as a cute younger sister.

As the complex emotional entanglements among Hye-Sung, Yeon-Ji, Dong-Chul, and Hyun-Ji come to light, a romantic love story set on the baseball field unfolds.
