On the night of Refugee Day, the Tokyo Tower was lit up with blue light, symbolizing hope, to inspire approximately 43 million refugees around the world as well as the victims of the earthquake in Japan. The lens got wet from the rain, but there was no attempt to wipe it off. The blue light seen through tears shone even brighter with hope.
