Collection of Entries for the 2011 National Geographic Photography Contest | Photography Friend

National Geographic Magazine is currently holding its annual photo contest, and the deadline for submission is approaching - November 30. In the past nine weeks, the National Geographic Society has organized and showcased the submitted works while encouraging readers to vote for them. Thanks to the kindness of National Geographic Magazine, I have been able to select highlights from the 2011 entries and present them in the "Focus Horizon" column. The following collection of 45 images comes from three categories: people, places, and nature, with the captions written by the respective photographers.
