The 1997 film "Titanic" is about to make a comeback on the big screen in 3D. During the production of the new 3D movie "Avatar," director James Cameron was inspired to re-make the highly acclaimed film "Titanic," originally starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, using this high-tech method. According to reports, the entire production process will take approximately one to fourteen months, with an expected release in theaters in 2012 (which marks the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's sinking), hopefully landing in the holiday season. This will allow audiences to once again experience the tragic love story of Rose and Jack.
