"What is the ocean?" asks a child at the very beginning of the film. The documentary "Ocean" questions the traces left by human influence on marine life. It's not an expository film, but rather a documentary that presents reality as it is. There are no artificial perspectives or commentary in the entire film; it simply lets the images speak for themselves. Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud hope to promote awareness and protection of the endangered marine world through this film, introducing some of the ocean's most critically endangered species. We also aim to showcase our most precious resources, the beauty of our oceans, through hundreds of stills and behind-the-scenes photos from "Ocean."
