Finland, Suomen Tasavalta, means "Land of Lakes". It is a small country in northern Europe. The inland water area accounts for 10% of the national territory, with about 179,000 islands and about 188,000 lakes, known as the "Country of Thousands of Lakes". One third of its land is within the Arctic Circle. I paid attention to this country, first because there are countless excellent metal bands here. It seems relatively isolated from the European continent, covered with dense forests and beautiful lakes, which has nurtured a unique Nordic metal culture. Second, part of its territory is within the Arctic Circle, where you can see the beautiful aurora borealis and other natural scenery.
