All men are created equal.

American photographer Mark Laita spent eight years traveling back and forth among the 48 states in the U.S., shooting portraits for all kinds of people. In 2009, he rearranged these portrait works and published a collection of works named "Created Equal". These refined and arranged photos may remind us: all men are created equal, and different environments and encounters with fate change us and make us what we are now.
