Astronomers accidentally capture rare beauty of an asteroid passing through a nebula - Mysteries of the Universe - Alpha — Fun facts about the world, talks and more

The asteroid 1719 Jens in the picture appears as a yellow-green spot, like pearls strung together, as if black pepper has been sprinkled on the colorful tadpole nebula. There is a specially displayed small square in the picture which reveals another asteroid. WISE can also detect two satellites hovering in its orbit, showing pale green trajectories in the "crowded" picture.
