Singing Daguh, selling big bowl tea, making Chao tobacco... all kinds of folk businesses and entertainment are available in the painting. The objects expressed may be passed down today (such as traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis, high stilt walking, playing flying fork), or not passed down (such as backpack deliverymen, candle makers, Taoist monks begging). Tracing back to the 1940s and 1950s in Beijing, these scenes might be witnessed with one's own eyes.
