The most beautiful mountain photos published in 2007

Iron Mountain in Oregon is covered with snow and cold, but this could not stop Mark Adams, a local photographer, from going there. He took pictures of the 20-story small spire, which is a relic of the volcano.

On September 13, 2007, at the center of Mount Plateau in Canada, eighteen winning photos stood out, and what is shown here is only a part of them. The National Geographic Society participated in this competition. (National Geographic News is a branch of the National Geographic Society)
