"Being able to talk to other people helps you get away from that pain." That's one way of putting it: Much of the online discussion (who gets the dog? How to divide the pension?) can quickly devolve into what users describe as "volcano posts" -- long, detailed rants about their hatred of their spouses over petty domestic matters.
