Comrade Sang Guowei's Resume:
The 14th National Congress of the Chinese Agrarian Labor Democratic Party (CALDP) closed in Beijing. Sang Guowei was elected as the chairman of the new Central Committee.
Sang Guowei, male, Han nationality, born in November 1941, originally from Wuxing, Zhejiang Province. Postgraduate education, researcher, doctoral supervisor, and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. He joined the CALDP in November 1996. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Central Committee of the CALDP, member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), and Deputy Director of the NPC Education, Science, Culture, and Health Committee. He is also the president of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and a researcher at the Institute for Drug Control of China.
