Botswana - the home of the Bushmen

Botswana, officially the "Republic of Botswana", is located in the inland plateau area of southern Africa. The national name is derived from the Tswana people who are the main ethnic group in the country. On September 30, 1966, Bechuanaland gained independence, and the people of Botswana restored its correct spelling, establishing the Republic of Botswana.
