According to a friend of mine who is also serving his sentence in Suzhou Prison, Zhou Jiugeng, the former Housing Authority Chief of Jiangning District, Nanjing, who became an internet celebrity in 2008 for smoking extremely expensive cigarettes, has written a 350,000 character novel during his imprisonment. The novel reveals insider rules of politics in great depth. Dozens of publishers from all over the country have contacted Zhou Jiugeng's prison through different connections. Some say this is his last wish.
