Deputy Mayor Wu Daowen required that all towns in the city concentrate on mosquito eradication actions within the next three days, while simultaneously carrying out a nationwide patriotic health campaign primarily aimed at preventing and controlling Chikungunya fever. A relevant official from the Municipal Health Bureau stated that cross-checks would be conducted among the towns, and disease control personnel from each town’s hospitals would go to each community to monitor the Breteau Index.
